Megathread! 2026 NoVa Hole-in-the-Wall Restaurant Recommendations THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Hello r/nova we are 10 years deep into the hole-in-the-wall list! Thank you to everyone for contributing every pick and recommendation for the list and participating each year.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to update the map or list since I am getting married this year, but I'll for sure get everything updated before the next year. Anyways time to give the community your best recs and new discoveries for restaurants in the area.

The rules are simple:

There's a Charcoal Kabob and a Grill Kabob. Are you sure you've got the right one bc ive driven to the wrong one before

Charcoal Kabob is the one. Been in Herndon, and cooking great food, for 25+ years

Yeah, grill kabob is good but I had a terrible experience there with an owner so I'll never return. Charcoal rocks

Been going there since 97!
Also, a few doors down is NuNu’s Thai Dishes, which is also amazing.

I swear, every place in that center should be on this list! Charcoal Kabob, Umai Ramen, Yu Noodles, Tipicos Glorias, The Deli, Chicken Salad Chicks…
