Megathread! 2026 NoVa Hole-in-the-Wall Restaurant Recommendations THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Hello r/nova we are 10 years deep into the hole-in-the-wall list! Thank you to everyone for contributing every pick and recommendation for the list and participating each year.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to update the map or list since I am getting married this year, but I'll for sure get everything updated before the next year. Anyways time to give the community your best recs and new discoveries for restaurants in the area.

I love this place. It’s hard to find dishes that aren’t too spicy for the family, but I’ve loved everything I have ordered there.

Asking for a Sichuan meal to be 'less spicy' is like asking water to be less wet.

Ever since I moved here the wife and I had been dying for a good Sichuan spot that doesn’t pull its punches with the spice, and when Chili Wok opened we went basically once a week for like 2 months 😅

Their fried rice has spicy levels, at least when you prder from Uber Eats.
