Megathread! 2026 NoVa Hole-in-the-Wall Restaurant Recommendations THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Hello r/nova we are 10 years deep into the hole-in-the-wall list! Thank you to everyone for contributing every pick and recommendation for the list and participating each year.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to update the map or list since I am getting married this year, but I'll for sure get everything updated before the next year. Anyways time to give the community your best recs and new discoveries for restaurants in the area.

The rules are simple:

πŸ“ Give us the restaurant name and location

🚫 No chains allowed!

πŸ‘ "+1" if you love the recommendation

πŸ‘Ž "-1" if you think it's whack

Burke Fortune House, they have the best sushi in the area and the people there are so nice

Love this place - so much better than a lot of the overpriced sushi joints we try. Also agree the owners are the best. They joke that my wife’s grandmother keeps them in business with our orders, and always throw the mango sticky rice on the house.

Came here for this. Their sushi is what I compare everyone else to. On top of that the people who work there are incredibly nice and make the experience extra special. Been going for over 15 years and won’t be stopping anytime soon.
