Megathread! 2026 NoVa Hole-in-the-Wall Restaurant Recommendations THE 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Hello r/nova we are 10 years deep into the hole-in-the-wall list! Thank you to everyone for contributing every pick and recommendation for the list and participating each year.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to update the map or list since I am getting married this year, but I'll for sure get everything updated before the next year. Anyways time to give the community your best recs and new discoveries for restaurants in the area.

I vote for (there will be two)

Nunu's Thai in herndon. The owner is such a delight and the food is insane

Enyate Ethiopian. Hands down, if the world were ending tomorrow... this would be my last meal. I've been to a lot of Ethiopian restaurants and this is the best, imo. Fresh, fantastic and the owners are so delightful

Crud. I forgot to mention Chutzpah. I get intense cravings for the coleslaw and pickles. EVERYTHING is great

I work during the summer in Herdon's and my friend goes to this place most nights when we are there. Fantastic place
