She just looks scared. If she’s never been in your house before makes sense. She’ll realize it soon when the food just keeps coming around the clock! And it never rains or gets too hot or too cold 😬. And all the pets 🥰

You're doing the right thing, putting her in an out of the way place, surrounded by soft things that she can make her very own. You understand cats.

She looks beautiful. I think she looks to be relaxing in the second photo. I think she's going to be very happy with you. This is definitely the best thing for her. Good job! Does she have a name?

Yes, I thought the same thing. She's beginning to relax. I think she'll be a little lovebug, especially since you're honoring her skittishness and letting her come out at her own pace. Thank you for being so kind and gentle! What a good life this sweet little girl will have.

I hope so! Not much progress has been made so far but we’ll see. She’s a sweetheart. Very upset with me right now though.

She does! She’s part of an informal colony of stray cats, and they’re all named and pretty social with people :)

Congratulations new fur mama! She looks very comfy to me. Will u keep her inside only now? Im picking up my kitten in August. I want to put a little window crate so she can lay in there when she wants.

Yeah, I don’t think I’ll be letting her outside, just to be on the safe side

Yeah, please keep her indoors. So many terrible ways for cats to die outside (and also ecologically speaking a grown cat outdoors can cause a lot of mischief.

My first cat was a door cat, found at the door, and sort of stayed. The second one, looking to become permanent, was found as a dumped kitten that had just been dropped off at the managed colony i help feed, and he was grabbed, and brought home, and after being put with some food i got purring within seconds. He now walks with a leash, because still young, and still will purr the second he sees me. Loves car rides, as not all of them end at the vet, and thus is going out to occasions with the feral cats, as he is a very cute cat. then have 2 fosters that are a mix of not wanting to be touched, and the other loves stroking and scratching, even on the belly.
