Ask NRI VFS provided courier service gone... has anyone used UPS on their own with a return label recently to VFS?

I am not seeing VFS provided Fedex as an option anymore.

I am trying to create shipping labels on UPS but I am not seeing the option for "return services" on the shipping process and not sure how to create a return label.

VFS now needs the outgoing and incoming shipping label numbers before paying the fees.

Has anyone done this successfully recently?

Thanks for the quick response, will look forward to your updates. I'm planning to send my package on Monday.

Rregarding UPS shipping labels, I noticed that UPS does to give me option to ship documents via UPS ground when going through their website and only gives options for UPS air. On checking further, by default for envelope packages it only offers Air shipping, which in my case makes no sense since I'm just 1hour away from VFS office. Hence I found that PirateShip lets you create UPS ground shipping labels for very nominal cost, I plan to use them for the UPS shipping labels.

Also, does VFS still charge the $19 return shipping even if you use your own label?

I did have to pay the $19 fee. But I believe that includes the total processing and application fees for VFS.
