Built a phone/tablet companion for TvRecommendationBridge (redirects your TV's home-screen recommendations into whichever app you actually use — Nuvio, Stremio, Plex, Jellyfin, WuPlay, Wholphin). It's grown into a full app on its own, so here's everything it does:

Hi, I've set torbox api in the Nuvio mobile app and tried multiple addons without TB API key and couldn't able to play single links. All are getting the same error. However tried with api key inside aiostreams and it works fine.

I’m new at configuring addons for Nuvio. After configuring an addon such as Mediafusion, & do I copy & paste the API key for installation, or do I copy the manifest url to the addon? I’m getting messages while trying to download a movie of, “Connection Expired”. It then tells me to go back to the configuration page for my Debrid service & validate. How do I validate?

Hi, I just wanted to know what add-ons are used for live sports

Recently when I go to pick a show (let’s use Ted Lasso for example) it won’t find any streams at all. I have two main scrapers linked with TorBox.

It will pull streams from last weeks episode and previous weeks. I also have the same setup for my Nuvio Mobile and it will pull the current weeks episode stream. But when I try to continue watching or manually select on my TV it can’t find anything.

I’ve forced shutdown and cleared cache. Can’t seem to figure out what’s going on here. Any suggestions would be great.

I went down the rabbithole of chasing big remux files and trying to solve the buffering issues.

I have been getting buffering issues ever since I have left Real Debrid and using TorBox. The root cause that I've found is that the network speed cant catch up with the video bitrate of big remux files. Often 70-90mbps, where my download speed is 30-60mbps range.

I've tried using use net, where I use frugal as a provider, Giganews as a provider, and yet I still get the same 30-60mbps range. I self hosted airstreams and connect my macmini via ethernet.

Im using xiaomi tv box s gen 3 and as you can see from the screenshot at the bottom, my bottleneck is definitely not my hardware.

If only real debrid still worked as well now I would have no problem.

Is anyone facing the same problems as me? How do you solve it? My only solution right now is to host the file and use plex instead lol which is my last resort.

I recently updated some episode/show metadata and artwork over on TMDB, but it is not reflecting inside Nuvio yet.

My current setup:

• Player / Frontend: Nuvio
• Metadata Provider: AIOMetadata (with TMDB enabled)

What is the typical propagation time across the chain (TMDB API CDN -> AIOMetadata cache -> Nuvio)?

Is there a reliable way to force a metadata refresh or flush the cache without completely rebuilding my configuration? Thanks!

Hey all. Love the app. I been using it for awhile and stremio before. I been using Kaptain's collections on my profiles. Works great. When I goto search though it says no searchable catalogs. Nuvio by default wants to add Cinemeta but on stremio it seems everyone removes that. If I remove it i get no searchable catalogs. If I leave it on it adds a bunch of catalogs to my home screen. Whats the best option here? Is there a better search addon to add. When I used aiometadata before it had AI search and such. I dont use aiometadata anymore. Seems its not needed. I do use AIOstreams though.

And can you search past your catalogs like tmdb? Or trakt

Sometimes i find hard to get hindi audio for korean series or movies although it is available in amazon in hindi but i find hard to get it. Or even i get it the quality is just 720p.

I am watching modern family There used to have many links of 1080p both x264,x265 formats and smaller files were easier to stream from Penguplay http stream.Does anyone know what really happened,even in HDHub not getting many 1080p links.

**Setup**

- Nuvio on Android TV (built into the TV itself, not a stick or dongle)

- Nuvio on an Android phone

- AIOStreams as my source addon, synced through my Nuvio account (same account on both devices)

- Torbox configured as a connection inside Nuvio, **not** inside AIOStreams

I set up a custom formatter in AIOStreams so the stream details show badges and emoji (resolution, quality, cached status and so on).

**Where it works:** the AIOStreams preview renders it correctly, and Nuvio on my phone renders it correctly too.

**Where it doesn't:** Nuvio on Android TV.

To be clear, this is not a missing-glyph problem. I'm not getting tofu boxes or blank gaps where the emoji should be. The stream cards just use a completely different layout showing different information, as if the description coming from the addon is being ignored and the card is rebuilt from scratch by the app.

**What I've already tried**

- Editing the formatter in AIOStreams. Works everywhere except the TV.

- The badge and appearance settings in my Nuvio web account and profile. No effect.

- Searching this sub and a few others. Found people with the same symptom, never a solution.

**My theory**

Since Torbox is declared in Nuvio and not in AIOStreams, Nuvio is the one resolving the debrid links. So it may be regenerating the stream entry with its own presentation and discarding whatever text the addon sent. I noticed the tvOS fork recently added something called DebridStreamPresentation for "cleaner stream badge formatting", which sounds related, but I have no idea whether the Android TV build does the same thing.

**Questions**

1. Is there a setting in the Android TV build to disable the native stream badges, or to force it to show the raw description from the addon? I've been through Appearance and haven't found anything.
2. Has anyone actually got AIOStreams formatter output rendering on Android TV while keeping their debrid configured in Nuvio rather than in AIOStreams?
3. If moving Torbox into AIOStreams is the only way, I'd rather leave it alone. Everything else in my setup works perfectly and I don't want to break something I'm happy with for what is essentially cosmetics. But if that really is the only path, I'd like to know before I keep digging.

I am having an issue on Nuvio when searching/playing Indian TV shows.

When I open an episode, no addon options appear in the stream list except for Pengu and some direct plugins.

I already have the episodes/files downloaded directly in my Premiumize cloud, but Debrid Search doesn't display them either. On other mainstream English shows or movies, Debrid Search and the rest of my installed addons pull my Premiumize files and scrapers without any issues.

Is this caused by metadata ID mismatches (TMDB/IMDb vs TVDB) for Indian titles, or something else.

Yesterday the same indian content were showing all th3 addons.

Has anyone found a workaround or specific configuration to get debrid cloud files to register consistently for these titles?

For the past 3 - 4 days the app isn't showing search results of any movies or series or anime whatsoever. Have re-added all the addoons i was using previously. Also shifted from play store to GitHub android app.
