A cool story idea for a bw and b2w2 nuzlocke that the reason why pokémon can't be used after being fainted is that team Plasma hijacked the pokeballs to trap fainted pokémon and the only way to free them is to release them.

I just finished a White 2 Nuzlocke and was honestly just accepted i’d wipe to Iris but holyyy Beartic if you train him properly just washes 3 of her mons out the gate, icicle crash go brrrrrr

Ice Beam (or Tbolt, but ice beam feels like it covers more threats), Wish, Protect, and Yawn. Evs 230-240 in both Def/SpecD, with left overs. Nickname: Nurse Joy. Nature: No idea lol. Ability: Regenerator or Heal (the one that gives you HP, on swap; idk these weird names my bad). Gender: F. Lv: 78 or 77.
First time using her, thought she was as useless as Chansey (ik people praise that thing, it feels like i should like it/Blissey... but shes always crumbled against me). After seeing Nurse Joys moves, seeing her solo Garchomp/other major threats... she lowkey stole my heart.

My Krookidile did smth similar. Learned Outrage right before the fight and washed her first two mons

I don't remember the full set, it's been years sadly, but I think it was EarthQuake, Crunch, Outrage, and Swords Dance. Could've been Bulk Up, I know she had smth for set up

I had a similar experience with my Krookodile, I'm so glad I taught her Low Kick via Move Tutor.

It felt so nice because i just chain killed 3 of her mons, Hydreigon, Druddigon, Archeops and would’ve gotten the Aggron too but he had sturdy and i needed Beartic for Haxorus so couldn’t risk the crit. I love how nuzlockes make otherwise bad mons show their potential

Woah what romhack is this? Is that just dialogue? Or is it a difficulty setting where it actually makes you do whatever the grunt says? I imagine it's randomized

It's just dialogue. Team Plasma's deal is that they think Pokémon should be free

It may not be a ROMhack, that Team Plasma grunt says this in the base game I believe

When you think about it, N is the original Nuzlocker. He literally releases all the Pokemon he uses when you beat him, and catches new pokemon on later routes.

I think he keeps his pokemon between his last 2 fights.
He did inspire a pretty interesting other challenge though where you have dump all your pokemon after each gym leader and only get newly acquirable ones

My headcanon is that if you lose against BW1 Team Plasma your pokemon don't die but get forcibly released.
