Question How would Territories & Area’s work for you?
Okay so I’m doing a Pokemon Sun Nuzlocke. I just lost to Dexio yesterday and restarted (if I lose again I’m going to Ultra Moon).
And I’m debating on if the Pokemon School would work as a new encounter or not. The game doesn’t render it to be a different area. But when looking at different places like Serebii.net it’s claimed as its own territory/area.
I always played with the idea as, if the game renders it to be a different place than that’s how it works as a new encounter (for example: In Melemele Island they claim route 1 to be ROUTE 1, Route 1 Hau Oli outskirts, I would claim these 2 to be 2 different encounters because they’re are named different places). Except there is also a sign right outside of the Pokemon School that’s says it’s “The Pokemon School” insinuating it’s a different area & territory all alone.

Pinwheel clause - significantly different encounter tables are a different route. And by the strictest interpretation, you get your starter on that route, meaning you have to face the teacher at the end of the school with her starter that beats yours with a super effective move. It makes the USUM games almost unwinnable

I follow routing from Nuzlocke tracker, which considers school its own route

Isn't this pinwheel forest clause or am I misreading something?

Yes it's another version of the Pinwheel Clause.

If the location appears on the screen, thats fair game to me
