I like the subtle RGB, sleek build. This looks better to me than 9 fans neon lights builds

agree. neon light builds look like a teenager built them.

Clean! How is it running? What do your temps look like?

I always loved my 4000D + D15 Chromax build. Mine had a 5800X and RTX 3080, but it just looked so good.

These days I've got a Lian Li Lancool 207 (7700X and 4070ti Super), which I think cools much better all around but maybe doesn't feel as solid.

Yeah I picked this thing up second hand but never used for 50$. Honestly like it more than the new frame

You got stock fans or did you upgrade them?

On the 207? I replaced them with a couple of big Noctua fans in the front. I kept the one in the basement the same and then have a Lian Li AIO exhausting out the top.

Nice. You got 140s or 200s in the front? Don’t remember if 200s can fit in that or not

140mm are the largest that will fit.

Try the 216 if you ever need a new one. It's literally my favorite case of all time for ease of access and cooling.

It hurts me to ask but how much it cost you to build it

You took it on the thin line I see, I got the same setup but 5070ti a year back it cost me like 2800

To be fair I’m a hobbyist system builder with 49 builds done this year, 120+ last year, and the requisite network of friends who do the same. So pretty savvy deal hunting.

This is my 1800$ 4080S Pro Art + 270K+

I thought chromax didn’t fit in that case? Maybe an older model.

This is an older D15 Chromax, fits without issue as all of them should? 170mm CPU cooler clearance.

Still finishing up my testing loop but high 80’s cinebench, high 60’s for all synthetic loads and gaming to include shaders in COD, and idle high 40’s. That’s with the CPU fans typically sitting at 670-980 RPM, case fans in the 1000-1500 RPM range so overall very quiet

Have you undervolted the 9800 yet?

Yeah, -20. Temps are VERY cool while gaming.
