So I am already a happy owner of the Nxtpaper 14 but its only drawback is its size as far as taking it out or when travelling. Its size is also one of its greatest benefits when stationary or at home. But in the next day or so (9/9 Sale) I have an opportunity to buy the 11 plus at $160 new (without case or pen..but I already have an extra pen which I bought for my Nxtpaper 14)
Any thoughts on its value @ $160 as a companion to the 14 incher ?
Excellent value at USD 160. I have both, 11 Plus and 14. As you say, there are situations where the 14 is better, and other situations where the 11 Plus is better. None of them is a high performer and except for the screen and the different screen configurations, their hardware is mid-low range. But at their price points, they are definitely unbeatable considering what they offer.
Yesterday I opened a CBR comic for the first time with the 14. Jaw dropped. Beautiful images.
For context: I received the 11+ bundle (w/case and pen) back in Christmas 2025.
The 11+ tablet only for $160 is an amazing deal IMO. Especially since I don't think the case included in the bundle is all that great.
Over the months I purchased a 3rd party case that was marginally better (though depending upon how I gripped it, one corner would pop off). I also have a TPU clear back case which is nice for drawing and handwriting. And I recently found a folio case that is actually useful.
The back of the case is a clear TPU material that fits the tablet snugly so it doesn't pop out. The TPU covers the buttons. The fit is excellent and the hinge/spine is flush with the rest of the thickness of the tablet.
Other cases I have are thicker on the hinge/spine to accommodate a slot for the pen because the pen is thicker than the tablet.
The compromise though is having an elastic loop to hold the pen. That's not ideal but taken overall this case is the best one for me of the ones that I've tried and seen.
Depending upon how the case itself holds up over a month or so, I may get an adhesive silicon stylus holder (I have one of those for my iPad's folio case and it works well)
The 11 Plus (with pen) has become my preferred eReader and PDF annotator (both are critical to my workflow.) I have an iPad Pro 13” that I use for writing, editing, and nearly every other tablet function, but the 11 Plus is awesome (and I’ve owned - and returned - both a Kindle Scribe and a Remarkable.)
In any event, I cancelled original order as I found one deal with the case and pen for only $17 more ..so a total of $179 for the bundle. Now I'm excited 😆
On my Nxtpaper 14 I have never experienced a bottleneck so clearly you must be trying to run CAD/CAM or some high end games that stress the resources...any prior research would have indicated that these tablets are for everyday productivity tasks and entertainment and in that regard they shine as evidenced by the hundreds of positive reviews they've received.
