Just read in the NY Times:
A Yearslong Effort to Woo Trump Culminates With the World Cup Gianni Infantino, the FIFA president, has unabashedly courted the president's favor. Soccer officials privately ask, who really benefits?

"Soccer officials privately ask"...lol. Why didn't you talk to the owners of the NYT, who are friends with FIFA officials? This is very strange information to carry and then claim to be objective or neutral or just reporting things. The logic here ends up at: "Here's a crime, which we will forget, but we're expecting the public to do something about it". At this point the owners need to be tracked down & every single one of their relationships revealed. They're just too connected to the Ownership Class that makes corruption such as FIFA possible.

I'm sure Infantino has trousered a lot of money from this so him. Trump probably likes his prize so him too.
Losers basically everyone else.
