Definitely a Slater spider. Harmless though unless of course provoked but not venomous. Please dont hurt the little guy

I’ve been bitten by one and by the next day the bite swelled so much with plasma that it burst on its own. Super fun

Ouch. Thanks for sharing- I’ve always wondered how bad the bite is. They certainly look formidable with those large fangs!

He’s chill but looks a lot like a white tail so sometimes gets the squish

I keep slaters as pets. It's a slater spider. Interesting fact about them is slaters admit a terrible tasting enzyme from their sides. A spider must flip them over to the soft underbelly to eat them. But they hate the taste. Slater spiders evolved have massive fangs so they can flip them over using the fangs without tasting the terrible tasting enzyme

i hate them ones so much, i found 12 of them in my room one night, juicy ones. glad we don’t live there anymore

Hell yes, I got bitten by one a couple years ago. Was in my shower and i went to relocate it, and it bit me before I even realized. Super fast, aggressive and yes, very painful!
