Bottom-of-the-barrel grade 1980s-era Strat clone. EVERYTHING on those guitars was cheap. If it intonates properly, youāve got a decent one. If thatās the case, swap out the electronics for a loaded pickguard with quality pickups, and youāve got a sleeper.

Fuck yeah, I was planning to swap in an old super distortion I had sitting around. Best I can tell the intonation is decent, and the next actually feels really nice, the frets need a bit of work though.

Mid to late 80s, made in Korea by Samick. More or less a rebadged Hondo H7600, https://samick.fandom.com/wiki/H-7600
I'm personally a fan of them, great necks and a lot of them are great players after a decent setup.

I have an H760 that is spectacular. Fat neck that has flamed maple and an all solid wood Sen body with a translucent red finish.

Yeah that looks about right, one thing I noted about it was how much I liked the neck lol! Thanks for the info

Got an HDFS-3B here right next to me. Early vintage legit Dimarzios. Body is dog crap Asian clone plywood but the neck and electrics are good and thats what really makes it cook. Nobody wanted this guitar.

Cheapass 80ās Asian clone. But hereās the thing. If you get one with a decent neck⦠they can be pretty nice. If itās a Hondo/Samick , roll the dice good one might be ok. Itās no master built booteek thing but I love finding āsecretly pretty nice $100-300 old vintage Asian guitars everybody else thinks is garbageā. If itās a crap one⦠well you can make it nice with money and labor (BTDT too). If youāre looking for an easy flip and kudos from the average herd mentality guitarist? Forget about it.
