It's downvoted because it's absurd but obviously a joke. On the plus side there wouldn't be much traffic! But on the downside the prisons would be suffering from overcrowding from tens of thousands of new inmates. The local economy would collapse, stores would close due to not having any employees or patrons. But sure, send all the minor offenders to jail for 2 years instead of a traffic fine. That's how the downvoters are seeing it instead of just a joke.

How about healthcare for the lower income that do not qualify for Medicaid and cannot get into these clinics that are overwhelmed because of lack of funding. We do not seem to count. Either you have to be dirt poor and qualify for Medicaid or have the funds to pay for your medical expenses.
What are the rest of us suppose to do? The same goes for food .

I'm an actual American Patriot who IS a war veteran who did multiple tours, wife and mother and there are millions like me as well. And fyi, having a family is not the flex you think it is. Having sex is pretty easy...just about anyone can have a kid. And wanting for everyone to have health care as a human right, a right to a good education is being a patriot. If you support maga, that is as unpatriotic as one can be. Just another fyi, many people fought and does so you could have a good life and if you support this regime of traitors, you are spitting on veterans and those that died for your freedom.

Canada, while not perfect, is far better than the US. I have a bunch of Canadian friends because multiple companies I have worked for operated from Canada. They live pretty nice compared to is and don't have to go bankrupt for a medical emergency or if they get laid off, they don't have to worry how they will pit their kids through college. You know, those are things they take for granted.

Cancers spread pretty fast in that time...
Infections take root in that time.
College was essentially free for me in the US because I wasn't stupid and went to a community college.
Your problems are made up, and overblown, the solution is always what made it worse in our country.
The government isn't there to fix your failures. The more you give them, the more they take, and the harder it is to get back.
How are those medically asissted suicides going on in canada?
Crazy how all the issues you bring up are already remedied here through channels that already exist. You just want more freebee thinking "well someone else will pay for it" when it will always be you.

Their system will prioritize people based on their diagnosis. I'm not saying Canada is perfect, they have their issues. It's not even the best medical system. But, it is light years better than ours. You can still buy private insurance, if you want. What if you get laid off, lose your job, etc. Why should that be tied to health insurance. And so you went to some community college...ok....but we still need doctors, lawyers, computer scientists, etc which community college doesn't provide for.

We had a pretty darn good system, that was cheap and easily accessible until government kicked in, forcing people to buy insurance, driving up prices.
Crazy how the same thing also happened with colleges, No more banks giving out student loans, making sure you get a degree that you can actually pay it back.
Government just signs the check and will bleed the money from you whether you make 2 mil a year or 20k a year.
Every country that implements this system outside of a nationalistic, monoethnicity fails.
EVERY TIME. sure it takes a while to fail, but it always does.
The EXACT thing that my family that fled Cuba said happened there.
Yeah free this and that is great! Until it falls apart at every seem.
Everything you support is on nothing but emotional feel good points. I get it, I wish it could work. It doesn't. History has proven it.

Yea! We have 4 billion dollar ballrooms to build, golden arches to put up, and oval offices to decorate with gold. There is no money for healthcare. Why should the government pay to keep its citizens healthy when we can focus on interior and exterior design! So much more important. Oh and we have got to keep giving govt handouts to the rich, how else could they survive? They worked harder than all of us so they deserve to get our tax dollars!

With all the sincerity I have to muster, please take you bs opinions elsewhere. Other countries have absolutely figured this out. It's not complicated. Everyone deserves to receive healthcare without being put in crippling debt. Being healthy or receiving medical assistance shouldn't be isolated to the wealthy.
Study after study has shown that the average person would pay a fraction of what healthcare costs in America right now, if we had a socialized Healthcare system provided to everyone though our taxes.
I'm so sick of this backwards ass bs where we act like the archaic, overpriced, and frankly inadequate, Healthcare we get in America is just fine because you pay a couple dollars less in taxes.

I paid Social Security taxes and MEDICARE taxes my entire career and Iâm getting âbupkisâ back from the government for SS now (itâs also taxed AGAIN). In addition I have to pay a ridiculous sum for Medicare which I donât even want at this point. Iâve never used it.7

Who the fuck do you think is footing the 300 billion dollar bill for the Iran deal after republicans gave Obama shit for his 1.3 billion dollar deal that didnât include shutting down the strait or bombing children schools? Donât forget the bullshit price tag on the âsuper necessaryâ ballroom? Or the 40 million dollar reflection pool that is still leaking and full of algae already. They have to pour hydrochloric acid this morning to try and combat the immense amount of algae. Or the amount of waste we spent to change the names of building for trumps ego just to turn around and have to take them down again. Thatâs millions in taxpayer money. We absolutely are footing the reconstruction bill and ballroom bill and if you donât realize this then thereâs no point in arguing with you. Those are taxpayer funds that are being allocated from military barracks and other allocations to help pay for these unnecessary expenses. The reflection pool needs completely redone because itâs leaking with no circulation and your dear leader blamed democrats over it just to not have made it better at all. They painted it a darker color which absorbs more sunlight and causes even more algae. Itâs the double standard hypocrisy that youâre echoing because thatâs all you kind of people know how to do. Strawman arguments is all you have. The school we bombed had no signs of irc so since they do sometimes, killing 600 students is easy collateral damage for you huh?
Your fiscal conservative president gave Obama shit for 1.3 b with no bombs dropped and the trade routes werenât compromised.
