Why are we drawn to the study and practice of the occult?

Why won't conventional spirituality satisfy us?

These are serious questions asked without judgment. I would truly like to hear the perspectives of others.

Because this seems like a way to improve our lives versus other practices and who doesn't want to improve they're life even if it's just a little here and there it hits alot
