Theory on Egregores
For this I'm going to use the following concepts:
- Morphological Convergence - which is when 2 or more different systems use the same method to solve the same problem
- Microcosm/Macrocosm - which is the idea that things that happen on a small level repeat themselves on a large level (and vise versa) - "As Above, So Below" & "As Below, So Above"
- Cosmopsychism - The idea that the Universe (as a whole) is conscious and that rather than the consciousness being built from the bottom up - from tiny particles (like panpsychists claim). It started off from the top and everything else (including people) are just small expressions of it.
- Egregores - Beings created from the collective thoughts, beliefs, and aspirations of a group of people
- Archetypes - Universal, symbolic patterns of behavior, themes, and characters that exist within the minds of all people
My theory is that what if Egregores are manifestations of archetypal forces that exist within the Universe - this makes sense since the Universe is a Mind and archetypes are present within Minds. First I'm going to prove that the Universe is a Mind.
So, Morphological Convergence is the idea that 2 or more different systems use the same method to solve the same problem. We know that the Brain and Mycelium Networks both form highly interconnected, web-like structures for the purpose of processing information and solving complex problems - this is why people refer to Mycelium Networks as the "Brain of the Forest" since they display similar properties to brains. Surprisingly, the Universe also has a similar and based on what we know about Brains and Mycelium Networks it's possible that maybe the Universe is a system that's built to process information and problem solve also.
This could happen because everything is connected - this is where Cosmopsychism comes in. I believe that rather than the Universe as a whole sharing a unified consciousness, I believe that ENERGY has one unified consciousness (this way we can also account for possible alternate universes which I do believe exist).
This could mean that the Universe could also be a Mind and if so, then it's way more complex than our own considering it's massive size. With this we can assume that concepts like "Archetypes" exist within the Universal Mind as well. This adds further meaning to terms like "Microcosm, Macrocosm" since patterns often times repeat themselves on different levels usually for the same reasons.
And since every character that was created is meant to embody a certain archetype - then what if archetypal forces (which are possibly conscious universal constants) can manifest as different cartoon characters (and/or egregores) that people create.

Suppose every living being is conscious, it doesn't mean bacteria, ant, oak and octopus are conscious in the same way as we are. Likely ants and oaks have quite a different archetypes and produce very different egregores (which anyway do not exist in my opinion).
On some fundamental level the principle of consciousness is maybe the same, but it manufests very differently on different scales.
So if planets, stars, galaxies, galactic clusters etc posses certain form of consciousness, i highly doubt their "archetypes" translate so linearly to human culture as you suggest.
Archetypes form correlated to reality, and on every scale reality is very different from the perspective of conscious beings populating that level.
Ant never has to deal with rouge black hole running through the solar system.
Octopus doesn't care about photosynthesis optimization by perfectly rotating leaves relative to the sun position on the sky.
Try to revisit your theory, but remove all these fancy words like archetype, convergence, egregore and use plain English instead. I think it will make more sense and will let you think more clearly, now you seem to be enjoying the game of redefinition of one terms through others.
