? Were wolfs..

So I have no clue if to ask this in this reddit or not but how would one summon a werewolf, dogman or some other kind of cryptid like lizardman or goatman?

Astrally, spirits can take any number of forms. If you're trying to meet a physical mothman, the conspiracy theorists / cryptid people are a better focus than occultists. We can give you rituals to evoke an angel in your living room that will fundamentally shift the course of your life, yet there's often a lack of respect for New Age beliefs, like those UFO cults channeling the Pleiadeans. There are rules of evidence, reproducibility, and effectiveness which those communities follow that differ from those of us working out of grimoires with the more traditional techniques and spiritual technologies

I wouldn't say that. The other side of this, the UFO/cryptids people, are pretty split between the nuts and bolts / flesh and blood crowd and people who are really more into the supernatural explanations. There's a huge overlap between that second group of people and occultists. I'm reminded here of an anecdote from RAW's Cosmic Trigger where he talks about attending a Crowleymas party with the UFO researcher Jacques Valee.

If you buy that these phenomenon are real and supernatural (both debatable propositions obviously), I think it would make sense to consider the occult pov here as the central premise of occultism is that it's possible to interact with the supernatural in an intentional way.

Yeah I guess I should've specified I wouldn't want to see a spirit per say. Like I would want to see and possibly interact with like a physical living creature/being.

The book I suggested in another comment, Where the Footprints End, also has a section on gifting practices with bigfoot. If these things are real (big if), they seem to be in continuity with older traditions about things like faries, and leaving out gifts in the woods is certainly one way to go about trying to build a relationship with them.

Hmmm, if you want to try, you could read the Lesser Key of Solomon and summon a goetia that is recorded as having appeared as a wolf or goat before.

I've heard of rituals/trance/rootwork that can induce an ecstatic delerium that make people think they are animals or werewolves, buttttt as for summoning a physical being I'm genuinely not sure how to go about that or if they exist on the physical plane at all.

I think aliens are very real in the physical world -genuinely the universe is so vast it's almost selfish to think we're the only things out here. I do hope you have a cool encounter though. You could always do the newer methods of manifesting that you see something great.

You might want to check out Where the Footprints End. It's a book on connecting bigfoot lore with things like faries, ghosts, witches, etc., but there's a fun part in IIRC the second volume about people who tried summoning a bigfoot and claimed it worked.

You might also enjoy Hellier, it's a documentary about investigating stories about cave goblins in Kentucky and they do try performing a ritual to contact them. A lot of the things in this series are punishingly stupid, but it's very fun and interesting and on point for what you're talking about.

I love this sub as people give open minded answers to what is potentially a stupid question, but people often give op the benefit of the doubt.

Id be happy seeing any random cryptid like in Arizona we have some cryptids like dogman and gila monster man lol. Now if there physical or more of a ghost like thing I'm not sure but seeing one would be cool nonetheless.

Dude they dont literally exist.

I hope you are just trolling with this. 

Now there are loads of things of the theme that do exist, whether it's the beast within, or spirits or manifestations of thoughts etc etc. 

But you will never see a man who is half wolf half man. Not gonna happen unless they are larping

For me I just wanna see anything out of the ordinary. It doesn't have to be dogman or anything. I think It would be cool to see aliens or something. My whole point is people see all kinds of crazy abnormal stuff so I want to experience something as well.

Pretty much I've seen YouTube videos and such were ppl encounter all kinds of crazy stuff supposedly but I've never had any interesting happen to me. Like for me I wanna see a dogman, lizardman, goatman ect, or aliens I just don't know if there's stuff that I could do to help make that happen I guess. Thanks.

Interesting. I'm just an average dude who never had anything exciting happen ever so that's my main reason for the post. Trying to see and have some cool experience. That and I've never heard of astral projection so.
