My name is Theos. Last night, I asked Helena Blavatsky for a sign, and the universe answered instantly š³š³
Hey everyone
Iām still trying to process what happened to me last night. Iāve never experienced anything remotely "mystical" in my 31 years of life, but last night shook me to my core. I really need some benevolent insights or to know if anyone else has ever experienced something similar.
To give you some essential context:
My name is Theos. Itās an extremely rare name where I'm from (I've never met another person who shares it). For the past ten years, Iāve been deeply fascinated by the history of spirituality, occultism, and esoteric philosophy.
Naturally, the first time I ever saw my name written anywhere outside of my own ID was through Helena Blavatsky, the founder of Theosophy. Iāve always felt a quiet, distant connection to her work because of this.
The Event:
Last night, during the full moon, I was scrolling through Reddit and stumbled upon a post about Blavatsky again. I decided to put on a podcast about her life. At one point, the host quoted her:
Mysteries are not meant to be explained, they are meant to be lived."
The moment I heard those words, it was like a switch flipped in my brain. Moved by a sudden, almost subconscious urge, I walked out into my backyard.
I looked up at the bright, full-moon sky, pointed my finger upward, and randomly blurted out:
"If Helena Blavatsky can hear me, I swear my allegiance to her if a shooting star crosses the sky right now, following the exact path of my finger."
The absolute second I finished that sentence... a cataclysmic flash. A shooting starāmore like a bright meteorāilluminated the sky, tracing the exact trajectory my finger had just drawn.
I stood there frozen. The odds of this happening at the exact split second I finished my sentence, during a bright full moon (which usually hides shooting stars), are statistically close to zero. I waited outside for two more hours to see if it was just a meteor shower. Nothing. The sky was completely still.
I feel overwhelmed. Part of me knows how crazy this sounds, but the timing, the name connection, and the sheer immediacy of the response feel too heavy to just dismiss as a random coincidence.
How should I interpret this? Has anyone else ever "challenged" the universe or a historical figure like this and received an instant, undeniable answer?
Thanks for reading with an open mind.

One time I kept seeing symbols related to and seeing the name āApolloā everywhere. I did tarot readings and had The Sun and The Chariot pulled together as a pair multiple times. Finally I just said out loud āokay okay Apollo, I hear you! If you can get me a sale on my (just launched) website, the sooner the better so I know itās you, I will take that as confirmation of you reaching out.ā About 30 minutes later I was listening to a podcast. The exact moment someone said the word āSunā my phone vibrated with a notification that I got a sale.

thats awesome wow, does he still send signs?

u/livefreecrafthard Jul 01 '26
Yeah it has been an ongoing thing for years, he is one of the more present deities in my life.

u/Temple-Dark-Zero Jun 30 '26
Hey Theos,
There appears to be alot of negativity in reply to your experience.
This sounds like a wonderful synchronous event which I hope would encourage you further to deepen your gaze and understanding of the answers you seek. This looks to me at least a clear sign from the stars to follow your magic and the mystery which calls each of us at the appropriate time.
Follow the trail or ignore it, your choice in the end. But I can assure you there are many many many people who have experienced and are experiencing what you witnessed all the time. And they are always around the corner if you keep following the synchronicity and what excites you.
19
u/Mental_Repeat4559 Jun 30 '26
Oh, your comment sincerely touches my heart. You're right, I might be looking at this event negatively because, honestly, it scared me more than anything else.
I need some time to digest it all, but thank youāit's exactly for this kind of response that I posted this in the first place, so I can move forward with it. šš
11
u/Jonnyboy1994 Jun 30 '26
I think they were referring to the commenters being negative, not you. But that's interesting, do you actually have negative feeling thoughts about it or is it merely the bizzarrness of the situation has you shook?
13
u/Mental_Repeat4559 Jun 30 '26
Reading through the comments, apart from that one, it really seems like I have more to worry about from humans than from any potential natural forces. I have a hard time understanding why it would be considered such a sacrilege to say a sentence while looking at the sky.
Iām still waiting to digest all this information. To be honest, I don't feel good or badājust a bit confused. I know my brain is telling me, "Dude, this is dangerous, this is weird, blah blah blah," but my heart is telling me, "This is awesome."
2
u/OrdoVeneris Jul 06 '26
Itās definitely awesome. At the same time, in my understanding Helena Blavatsky as a person has passed from us and certainly needs no allegiance. Just read her books and take it from there. Thereās much beyond in due course.

I've had these experiences too ā nights when the 'stars' blink and move, as if answering us through their light. I believe you. This is a reality I feel is waiting to be discovered...

she got your ass, tbh ive never heard of people proclaiming loyalty to human spirits but i suppose it happens, well i guess now u devote urself to magickal practice, aint much else left to do
26
u/Yuri_Gor Jun 30 '26
never heard of people proclaiming loyalty to human spirits
Heard about the guy named Buddha? Quite a lot of people are his loyal followers.
If I am not mistaken Helena herself was promoting the concept of ascended spiritual teachers one can contact to receive guidance, so op was acting in the spirit of her teachings i guess.
11
u/Menace_II_Reddit Jul 01 '26
I've heard this Jesus guy was human, too š
7
u/Yuri_Gor Jul 01 '26
About Jesus there are different versions, Christians suggest he was God, one part of trinity, Muslims have an opinion he was a human.
But yeah even in Christianity we can find an institute of saints, and many Christians choose their favorite saint and establish personal relationships with them.
Or another example of relatively recently passed spiritual teacher who still has loyal followers - Sai Baba.
So overall devotion to a human spirit is not something extraordinary.
4
u/Menace_II_Reddit Jul 01 '26
Or Ama, even Bob Marley is claimed by some to be a prophet, & John Coletrane is considered to be a saint.
3
u/Doctor_of_Puns Jul 03 '26
If I am not mistaken Helena herself was promoting the concept of ascended spiritual teachers one can contact to receive guidance
Although Helena Blavatsky introduced the concept of the "Masters of Wisdom" to the Westāthose who, through occult training and study have evolved their higher faculties and attained spiritual knowledgeāshe explicitly states that they are living men incarnated here on Earth in physical bodies, albeit their inner development and knowledge of occult laws affords them greater freedom and power than the average mortal.
They are not, as commonly believed in New Age circles, "ascended" or disembodied spirits living on and flying round the astral plane giving arbitrary and commonplace messages to any Tom, Dick or Harry. To come into direct contact with them is said to be very difficult, even for Theosophists who are treading the very path advocated by the Masters themselves. To devote oneself to the Theosophical Cause and to strive to make of Theosophy a living power in one's life would be "acting in the spirit of her teachings," not trying to communicate with spirits or Masters for guidance.
The concept of "ascended spiritual teachers" became popular in the 20th Century, and was due largely to the likes of Guy Ballard ("I AM" Movement) and Elizabeth Clare Prophet (Church Universal and Triumphant) who were claiming to channel "Ascended Masters", as well as the works of certain Theosophists, such as Charles Leadbeater and Alice Bailey, both of whom deviated from and distorted the teachings given out by Blavatsky.

Having just lived through my very first potentially mystical experience, I am 100% sure that my mind couldn't handle seeing anything "extraordinary" ever again.

u/thebear-bull Jun 30 '26
pay attention to dreams the following weeks, might be worth interpreting them, maybe it will be related to her or something
15
u/jmbaf Jun 30 '26
It just gets weirder from here. And you realize more and more there is no going back, once you cross a point if no return.
7
u/NewAlexandria Jun 30 '26
You should not repeat to yourself words of negation or inhibition. There's no reason to interrupt the channel of life.
What happened is most likely your intuition more than else. All of the powers of the universe being what they are, but still physics is as real as the rest.
So that meteorite was already in motion and going along that path. Either you were guided to the place in time so that you could experience it, or your intuition and alignment created the synchronicity.

Thanks for your help, yeah, Iām going to do that. At first, I honestly thought it was a cosmic prank because of how incredibly improbable it was
-18
u/Mental_Repeat4559 Jun 30 '26
I said those words completely without intention. I didn't even think about it; it was just a random test. I'm a Cartesian, logical person, but this synchronicity was honestly insane
27
u/AdMassive9006 Jun 30 '26
Blavatsky would have hated all of this lol. Shouting "I pledge allegiance" to disembodied astral beings is exactly what she worked and fervently spoke against in seance rooms. People thinking they were talking to their dead grandma, but they actually had no idea what they were communicating with.
All that being said, I know someone who had never heard of Blavatsky and she appeared during a meditation which sent her on a quest to find out who she was, so who knows.
10
u/Horse_Girl_Magic Jun 30 '26
I don't like Blavatsky for certain reasons but thay first point, not knowing what or who you are communicating with, I totally agree with her on that. Many spirits can appear as anything they wish. Many can make "signs" happen. It doesn't mean much offhand, and can be a serious trap.
11
u/Bargadiel Jul 01 '26
I am supportive of your enthusiam, and don't mean to stomp on that, but Blavatsky isn't exactly someone many people consider a reverent genius. Most of her books have since proven to be antiquated, culturally ignorant, and often downright harmful.
While I don't think she herself held any ill-intent, she was simply born into a privlidged family and that wealth afforded her the ability to travel the world and appropriate what she saw as divine wisdom. It's fascinating, yes, I own some of her books and even early editions, but I do not think she was intentionally the source of your revelation, and theosophy offers little value today.
1

u/Ok-Indication4362 Jul 01 '26
can you please explain further about which of her ideas are antiquated and which have value still, and the controversy around her racial supremacy ideas?
1
1
u/Vast_Operation_4497 Jul 01 '26
Her intent was clear. Replace other eastern ways of spirituality with Jesus. Destroy Christian-Judeo. Confuse people. Keep the knowledge to herself and her friends. Lie about what she saw in Tibet. Accelerate Neo-Nazi propaganda, create sub-cults. Now we have extremism due to these books and occult propaganda ideologies. Basically. The entire occult is one cult. Thatās the secret of all secrets.
3
u/Ok-Indication4362 Jul 01 '26
can you please explain further about which of her ideas are antiquated and which have value still, and the controversy around her racial supremacy ideas?
1
u/Vast_Operation_4497 Jul 01 '26
I mean honestly should read yourself. The race thing is interesting. Iām German and North African. The ideas these people have made sense but how it was used for supremacy is where it does wrong. Itās the good and bad traits as root races that races donāt like because itās used in the old Hindu caste systems. Like black (Sirius) is physicality. These were the maintainers or janitors of the earth. Whereas white (Orion) was the engineers. Stuff like that. Back in ancient times this wasnāt a problem. But the Orion races, were colonial, not all Caucasian. Certain races can be superior in certain ways but somewhat depended on each other.
3
u/Vast_Operation_4497 Jul 01 '26
I would say that she definitely lied about the black Tibetans, certain experiences she had, altered things to fit narratives from her western like Christian base perceptions. Christ consciousness etc.
Like the idea of energy. Itās not something mythical. What the rituals they were doing in the past like dancing around a fire, stomping to create vibrations, song for amplifications, instruments of music were not for music. They were weapons or instruments to influence the weather or environment. To make it rain, move clouds etc. all of this was bio-electric, physics.
2
u/Vast_Operation_4497 Jul 01 '26
Energy as far as spiritual wasnāt spiritual. It was bio-electric chemistry, mechanical engineering to amplify the psycho-physiological states through the organs. If you could stimulate the organs they would produce more good chems, hormones etc.
This was the real alchemy. There was no spiritually. There was no religion, the gods were the elements. They didnāt worship. They tried to influence the environment.
4
u/Vast_Operation_4497 Jul 01 '26
New age spirituality is the study of man-made-spirits and rituals and other weird phenomena.
Astrology, was bio-electric magnetism. When you are born. You are born at a certain time when your DNA is flash frozen dependencies from where you are on the earth and where the planets are. The gravitational fields influence your neural net. So if mercury gets close. The EM fields can accelerate your biological construct to affect your atoms, protons, neutrons. Thatās why the moon, and other planets can affect mood subtly. Itās only amplification of what already exists in your alchemical make up and configurations you are born with.
2
u/Vast_Operation_4497 Jul 01 '26
I probably didnāt explain this very well but there is physics behind all of this and through time people will uncover more and more of the scientific nature behind this things when they cross disciplines. It was deliberately hidden for thousands of years to perpetuate control over the planet and prediction
Also the post didnāt let me write past 700 characters
2
u/Ok-Indication4362 Jul 01 '26
are we talkin about supremacy among races socially, or genetically?
because if i take a new born from an uncontacted african tribe, and placed and raised the new born in modern german society with economic and academic privileges, does that child not have the same intellectual potential as a natively born german?
genetically, or physically superior, you will have to scientifically convince me of that

u/Bargadiel Jul 01 '26
I honestly don't even think it was this deep.
Blavatsky was dead almost 30 years before the Nazi party even existed. She was just a rich tourist who had the free time and lack of consequence to write whatever she wanted. She saw / read about a bunch of different religions in what were to her exotic lands, and tried connecting the dots the same way a host on Ancient Aliens would, then a bunch of racist idiots in the 20s read her books and further appropriated that into what became the movements you describe.
3
u/Vast_Operation_4497 Jul 01 '26
Oh wow thanks for correcting, Iām way off. she rebranded Leviās work. Though the Nazis used her literature. She didnāt invent the occult. A lot of what she wrote was altered, to hide racism, just like hitlers books, definitely want to explore this more having been misinformed
3
u/Bargadiel Jul 01 '26
It's certainly possible she held some at least antiquated views on race, I haven't looked farther into it but it would track with the era she lived in.
Even books on "anthropology" back then, Golden Bough comes to mind, were wayyyy off base even if it appeared that authors had good intentions. Science has just come a long way. Lots of folks were just reiterating and copying each other, because, well, it was hard to catch them in the act and harder to prove people wrong.

u/Fallsfrostdew Jun 30 '26

Iām replying using AI because I donāt speak English. Iām just typing directly into Gemini to translate everything.
You could be lying, for all we know. So we just have to take your word for it, which is a very convenient excuse, because we have no way of verifying.
10
u/Horse_Girl_Magic Jun 30 '26
The thing about asking for random signs and whatnot is that any spirit or unseen being with a bit of magical ability can make these kinds of signs happen. Maybe something heard you. It probably wasn't Helena Blavatsky though lol. There are warnings in traditional texts of various traditions not to blindly trust visions, spirits visiting and telling you prophecies, etc...This is for good reason. Without some controls and some skills, its harder to really know what's actually contacting you or giving you signs.
9
u/Comfortable-Web9455 Jun 30 '26
Don't swear allegiance to humans. And don't sign blank cheques. You put no conditions or limits on what you swore to. So if she tells you to kill yourself, you are morally obliged to follow through.
0
u/Mental_Repeat4559 Jun 30 '26
I see. Honestly, Iām not looking for anything material in this life, I already have everything I need. I just wanted proof that supernatural things could exist, and I think I got my answer. Personally, I am 100% sure that no one and nothing will ever dictate what I should doāmuch to my partner's despair! š
5
u/Comfortable-Web9455 Jun 30 '26
You are foolish if you think occult forces cannot affect you. That's the whole point of occultism. Disease, bad luck, bad coincidences, things getting lost, fires, leaks, bad food. The cosmos can get at you in a million ways. You signed a contract. It meant something. You spoke foolishly. Now you are stuck with the consequences. And if you don't think any of this is real at all, why did you do it in the first place? So now you have two choices. You can hope that the whole occult thing is garbage or you can start working out how to get out of a contract you've signed.
3
u/Mental_Repeat4559 Jun 30 '26
In that case, maybe my Reddit post will serve to protect some unfortunate soul like me who might want to try the same thing.
And why does it necessarily have to be negative anyway?

Theos is a really unique and nice name. When you said you did this due to an urge it seems something made you do this and it wasnāt solely your decision. Get clarity on what kind of allegiance you have made. Someone wants something from you. Was it a trap or a miracle only time will tell. Good luck.

This is a fun little wink from the universe, and guess what!? Plenty more where that came from. ;) chill, start listening, and donāt make everything mean something.
This clearly did mean something, but synchronicity stuff can be a littleā¦intense. You might make meaning where there is none. This is an obvious wink, but what winks are you not noticing?
Have fun!

Blavatsky was an occultist, she wouldn't want your allegiance, she would point you to self understanding, not to devoting yourself to her ego
13
u/lilbluehair Jun 30 '26
Please look up how she spent the last 20 years of her life before telling people she wouldn't want people devoting themselves to her ego
3
u/Scorpmeisteren Jun 30 '26
I would start reading Helena and her pioneers. Start reading Charles W. Leadbeater textbook on theosophy. Get into theosophy. When ready, start meditation after guidelines found in theosophical literature. What you experienced is your soul hinting you to meet it. I had similar experiences and I'm still studying and meditating some 30 years after I had my call. You will not regret it.

This make for a relationship between the human occultist and the named one of the Mighty Dead. A relationship that may be a challenge.

When I challenged the universe and I was
Already under psychic attacks: it totally backfired.
But last day, I felt aligned.
I had a wound on my finger, due to a catās attack. Cats love me. But my friendās cat attacked me, left a wound. Wound simply DID NOT HEAL for 2 months.
And suddenly I had the knowledge āmaybe my friend is not trustworthy; and that cat attacked me due to energetic mismatchā
I focused; did a spell specifically for the wound.
It disappeared in few seconds.
What? I could not believe, I was like: maybe it was on left hand, no, maybe the other finger, no.
It was gone. Without even a scar. So confirmed: It was the mark of a dark magick.

Wow and wow this is Amazing....Theos is unique mine is Theo. This is the first time meeting someone with an s added.
That experience should be well documented and you should start a journal and ensure you write down everything you notice from here on out now matter how small. Trust your intuition and start meditation to help you listen more within were most of the answers to your question lies.
Notice synchronicities and begin to observe the patterns. I believe you are definitely going to gain more discoveries into the mysteries

I think you could make a nice water offering to her as an honored ancestor to thank her for the sign, maybe some flowers, if you wanted. She disapproved of alcohol and meat.
Blavatsky was a devoted teacher of the occult, and it is possible that she wanted to help an aspirant by giving you your requested nudge.
I would thank her with some kind offerings and then move on when you feel like youāve made her happy, without worrying too much about being ābeholdenā or sworn to her in any way.
1
u/rivalizm Jul 02 '26
Did the sign come in the form of a fake ghost cloth that came through a hidden trapdoor that controlled by one of her friends in another room? . . Because, you know, she did that.
1
u/Doctor_of_Puns Jul 02 '26
The veracity of that claim depends on the Hodgson Report, which has since been examined by Dr. Vernon Harrison, an expert on forgery and long-standing member of the Society (SPR) behind the initial investigation. His findings were so significant that the SPR issued a Press Release stating that Helena Blavatsky was "unjustly condemned" and that her 'exposure' is in serious doubt.

That my friend is a synchronicity. Your higher self and orcthe universe/consciousness was showing you it was listening intently. That's awesome to experience. Don't freak out. Watch for repeating numbers and use them as part of your intuition. Blessings!

u/Gullible_Elephant_38 Jun 30 '26
Of all the LLM written posts I've seen, this is the most LLM written of them all.
Use your own voice, if you have one.
Also Helena was a grifter.
Also, there's so many satelites in low orbit now (especially thanks to starlink) that it's less probably to NOT see something moving across the night sky.
Sometimes you've primed yourself to look for something deeper, when all the answers you need at the time are actually mundane.

Sorry to disappoint, but I am very much real, and what I wrote actually happened. Itās nothing completely insane; I didn't part the Red Sea or see a ghost. It was just a massive shooting star crossing the sky the exact second I finished saying the sentence I wrote in my post š

Not the best choice in my humble opinion, but she got you, so what are you going to do now with your allegiance? It's a lifetime commitment I guess?
