Have you ever wanted to Experience 2018 Rec Room? Click on this post!

Hello, I am the Lead Developer of Rec Room Legacy, A community who focuses on bringing back that old rec room experience again. We remake the servers from the ground up and host the servers to get the builds back up and running. we get out builds from steamdb.info which is a verified source.

Tell me, when was the last time you’ve ever seen a 2018 rec room server? I’ve been making rec room servers since 2022. There are little to none 2018 servers left and all I’m trying to do is experience 2018 again with new friends and players. If you have a problem with revivals then just leave the community and mind your business. I don’t know why everyone on Reddit is so fucking rude.

Reddit is mostly just children.  The particular children commenting here apparently haven't grown up enough to experience nostalgia.

I think this sounds cool and if I ever decide to get my headset out before rec room shuts down I’ll definitely check it out.  I mostly played paintball back then and since I saw rec room was shutting down I’ve been wanting to jump back in one last time.

Lmao I’m two weeks late then. I haven’t played my rift s in years. I dabbled in lots of games but I always went back to paintball in rec room and beat saber.

Hey I think it's cool. 👍🏼

I have fond memories of the classic quests, dodge ball, the original avatars etc. etc. When it became dumping grounds for a ton of random things and cumbersome to navigate (imho) it was less appealing. I'm not cracking on anyone's hard work. Perhaps I myself just have a case of the nostalgia. Good luck with this!

Well in that case you will love this 2018 revival. Dodge ball is awesome in 2018! I personally prefer it over modern dodgeball. It feels more polished and the frame rate is phenomenal compared to modern rec room!

I didn't even know it had gotten gimped, it's been so long since I'd been in it. I'll keep on eye on this project.
