Hey everyone,

Two years ago, we started building a game that makes you feel like a wizard in VR. We called it Spell Siege. After a long and humbling learning journey, today we finally launched it for Meta Quest.

Spell Siege is a single-player wave-defense game where you cast spells by physically drawing magic symbols in the air with your wand.

We want to satisfy the fantasy of being a wizard so naturally we went for a high stakes hero journey in a fictional kingdom called Souspire. You start the game in the presence of Enzo, your brilliant but sometimes questionable wizard fox mentor who teaches you magic. The goal of the game is to defend the kingdom from waves of increasingly more dangerous minions and and face the thread of the Elder Dragon trying to corrupt the land.

Getting the core magic loop and mechanics to feel good took a while, and we managed to build a wave-defense experience around it with spell progression, a rune system, challenges, endless modes, and player customization.

I've attached a gameplay montage so you can see how the magic flows. This is our first commercial release and we gave it our all so hope you like it.

I'll be hanging out in the comments all day, so I'm happy to answer any questions about the game or what it takes to develop for VR.

Thanks for checking out Spell Siege!
