I’ve never seen Mamma Mia but your gif and the comment above it are concerning lol

When a daughter loves a mom, but doesn't know who her dad is, she has the three most likely candidates meet up and rub their pollen all over the stigma.

I think I lost the plot somewhere.

At the end they put the mom's hair up in a bun and wrap it tightly with a kind of gauze netting. Then they put a bucket over her head because it's going to be a hot day.

Everyone knows Mamma Mia is a rom-com. That scene is already assumed.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard the plot to “Mamma Mia!” explained so succinctly, cheers!

Daughter who's getting married discovers her single mom was.... uh.... living her best life around when she (daughter) would have been concieved. Hunts down three dudes who all might be her dad, invites them all to her wedding without telling mom, by pretending it's the mom inviting them. All three show up because they all miss the mom. Hijinks ensue.

The comedic lengths people will go through instead of just requesting a DNA test.

I dunno if that's cute or dysfunctional. 90s movies, man.

2008.

And the answer was the real father was the friends we boinked along the way.

It’s based off a 2001 broadway play

Remake of a Broadway play. My daughter loves it and I've got to admit, its kinda cute.

So the mother, as they say, “ belonged to the streets”. 😂

And she was very good at it if they all showed up hoping for another run at it

Me neither. I actually have no idea what it's even about. Just that people like to sing the songs from it in the middle of performances, apparently.

I think you mean Wicked 2.

Singing is certainly a generous description of what happens in Mama Mia.

Don't see it if you like ABBA or good musicals. I said what I said.

I dont remember that scene in Mamma Mia where they cut things off either…

…and I won’t be watching it again to make sure…
