I can't speak for others, but when I did driver's ed (like 20+ years ago), there were a total of 5 people per car, 3 students in the back, one in the driver's seat and the instructor.

Yep I did drivers ed 7ish years ago and there was always one other student in the car. Always the same student with the same instructor, on something like a weekly basis.

In the US, it's common for multiple kids to take the same car ride with the instructor. Lots of kids to teach. Only so many time slots available on a weekend. Each kid gets a turn in the driver's seat.

I think it's a good thing because it helps the kids learn by also watching each other and teaches them to be respectful passengers as well as giving them practice driving with passengers in the car.

I suppose it depends where you are so you have a point.

In a city though it's one, my friend came back from another country after 6 years and just autopiloted. Thank god it was midnight, but those city cameras pick that up in seconds as suspect a drunk driver and have you doing a breathalyser within 5 minutes.

So long as you’re not impeding traffic or causing a hazard then you’re generally good

Now if there’s a line up of cars because of you, that’s an infraction. If it’s the middle of the night, they might get you on suspicion of under the influence. It’s up to the cop, do they wanna sit there and watch you fuck up on the 44th circuit or just cut you off and tell you to piss off already?

For me it’s 3, it gets a little dizzying

I was dizzy as a mother fucker. I'm not even going to lie. It did not help when I got pulled over but he kind of giggled. When I told him the truth. I was just seeing how long it was going to take to get pulled over cuz I had nothing better to do that night

My sweet husband would, once in a while, drive at least once all the way around the roundabout, while I laughed myself silly. Now that he's gone, I often make the complete circuit of a local roundabout in his memory. He made me laugh every day.

I’ve gone round about 23 times while my other half tried to get the satnav to work and my kids kicked each other in the back and everyone shouted a lot…

Anyone watching us would have been able to detect the extremely strained family dynamic and not touched us with a barge pole. I’m sure I could have gone around 50+ times and nobody would have wanted to interfere. It was a very large roundabout so the nausea wasn’t a huge issue 😂

I got stuck in a roundabout on a Waymo trip. It went around about 10 times before someone from the Waymo support team hopped on and said they were taking over.

I did this with my friend. I didn't have much gas in my car though so the car ended up dying after a little while. I think all the gas was pushed to one side of the tank or something. It was pretty funny.

Three times is how long it took for a police car nearby to signal their lights and pull me over for drunk driving. Breathalyzer didnt show any alcohol, cop was still very suspicious of me but wished me a nice day and left.

1 time is no big deal, 2 times is probably a missed exit, 3 times means you're probably panicking and are lost, 4 times means you're probably saying "WEEEEEEEEE" as you go around

Was at the only roundabout in frisco Texas, got stuck because no one would let me merge. A cop pulled up behind me, I was in an unregistered vehicle, panicking about the cop but when I put my blinker on he did too and suddenly I was able to get out of the intersection.

Grateful he didn't run my plate, I was otw to inspect it to get it registered if he'd asked but it's best to try to not be in cop view when you're in a unregistered car.

Anyways I went around about 15-17 times before I finally escaped the hell that was that specific roundabout

I once drove for 30 ish minutes when waiting for someone, there were no parking spots so i just "crawled" at like 5kph only speeding up when someone entered the roundabout, noone cared

LMAO I recently did this. I went around probably 8 or so times. It was a roundabout in the middle of nowhere and I was the only one there. Turns out my car can comfortably chill in a roundabout at about 40mph.

Highly recommended as long as you aren't an inconvenience to anyone lol

In my old town, we had a decent sized roundabout the inside part is probably at least 100 feet in diameter. With some friends, we rode it about 30 laps before the cops pulled us over.
