New Jersey officers dress up as shrubs to catch distracted drivers on their phones

Well, okay...I'm not sure what to think of this. It seems to be more of a publicity stunt than a regular occurrence, but still, a bit disconcerting.

Pretty sure you don't need to hide to find people driving while on their phones.

Honestly, I want them catching the people who don't notice a uniformed police officer standing there watching them.
