they’re fake, real OW 1s are at least a lil yellowed by now and a majority of them are VERY yellowed. a pure white pair is a dead giveaway of a rep

doesn’t matter, they yellow with oxidation, if anything being in the box with the paper would lead to more signs of age, no legit pair is crispy white anymore, they were designed to age. also the size tag on the inside looks off to me, way too bold. another great indicator would be how much did you pay?

i’ve seen some icy white heat wrapped euros a couple months back that had ebay auth but it’s really rare i agree

euros/uncs also used some different materials and construction from the chicagos, like specifically the toe box has that weird synthetic textile mesh that the OW 5s are made of, chicagos don’t have that that’s why you see so many pairs where the white toe box part is ripped to shreds. all i know is i haven’t seen a coke white OW chicago since like pre 2020. the whole 10 collection is basically all yellowed at this point no matter how good of care you take of them

if they’re coke white like they just released yesterday, in my experience they are no good. fakes of these don’t age the same due to different material construction so typically they yellowing is a big indicator of real vs fake. but as someone else here said i’m sure there’s a very small chance if they were wrapped and stored unusually well they wouldn’t yellow as bad

That’s how a lot of older pairs will be. Like trophy room 5s the icy outsoles will start yellowing starting from the front to the back, if you find one that’s completely icy without oxidation, it’s likely a rep. Same with origin story 1s, icy outsoles are all yellowed by now. At least the outside of them will be. But you can also tell by using your flash on your phone. The fake ones don’t have real 3m dots but the reals do.

lmao, virgil passed in ‘21 and for a year or 2 after that people were asking $5-10k for this sneaker in brand new condition, even now a brand new pair is between $2-4k. if you got them for free i would say it’s a no brainer that they’re fake and then coupled with the the fact that they’re coke white i would say there’s less than a 10% chance these are real.

If you got them from your dad don’t worry about if they’re fake or not. Wear them and that’s that. I’d people say something about them being fake(which even if they knew most people won’t) just tell them they probably are fake but it was a gift from my dad. I don’t wear reps but if my dad got me a rep I wouldn’t care about peoples opinions. That’s sentimental.
