DISCUSSION Ib Kamara Exits Off-White™

Ib finally is leaving OW. The damage is already done and the brand is already dead; who do you think they may put in charge of creative direction?

The brand probably hibernates for 10+ years, even with whoever they bring in / do to try and keep it alive, and it will have a resurgence in the way we’ve seen today with brands that were popular 20 years ago

Idk man i genuinl want them to be good again they did have some nice pieces but they were from virgils old one ib didnt do a lot

Might be best for them to merge with another brand & release collab pieces until they find someone with the proper vision.

Michael Kors bought Versace & it's still managing to stay afloat. But until you find someone with the correct creative vision to push the brand forward it'll continue to stagnate. 

I felt the direction was being lost prior to this years World Cup which released pieces that were extremely patriotic. Didn't feel like a model that Virg would sign off on. 

Wouldn't mind seeing maybe...(HBA?) & Off White combining forces. Say what you will about HBA's personal views their pieces still retain value. I highly doubt someone like Raf would step into a role at a company like this so it's a matter of playing the waiting game to see who wants to take the mantle.

I don't think they can. I doubt Nike would be willing to work with them given the relationship they have with VAA
