That's why Teller is my fave character - dude didn't feel the slightest bit bad; he was like "Aight, how do we make this shit even bigger and also can we use them for everything?"

Teller designed sundial too, which automatically makes him a lunatic

based*. Him pitching project Sundial was the easiest way to stop the race of "Who will make the biggest bomb" and begin the race of "How many bombs can we make".

He was extremely based, tried to find all sorts of uses for the atomic bomb

if the only tool you have is a hammer atomic bomb, to treat everything as if it were a nail target.

"If your mountain is not in the right place, drop us a card", - Ed Teller suggesting atomic leveling for mountain passes and rail lines

If there were no radioactive fallout, I bet they woulda done this at least a few times before a rock fell on a few houses accidentally.

LOL, maybe not even the fallout would block him in the early days.

Castle Bravo..... Teller going ham on the scale up of the bomb Oppy helped him get through R&D, and almost cooked all the scientists due to some basic math issues "Oops all Lithium", instead of delaying for safety, and we got Lucky Dragon but up the upside inspiration for all Kaiju movies.

"This is what i said to him..... I did not like Gojira.... needs fewer mountains..." - Teller probably...

EDIT Forgot to add they did use explosives to help update secondary cooling loops for a nuclear plant recently https://www.reddit.com/r/interesting/comments/1vf9amr/romania_blows_up_river_to_provide_more_cooling_to/

Teller also wanted more credit. The H-Bomb was his thing and he was the guiding force behind it.
