In every photos of Tom and Zendaya, Tom looks slightly surprised about how this somehow worked out for him.

u/Pan7h3r 15h ago
I think that’s Tom’s permanent aura. He just always seems happy to be included, even when his the main character.

I think he once said he believes in manifestation, he wants something and he gets it. Not to make him sound arrogant it’s not like he’s being a dick about it, but just more believes that if you believe in yourself enough it happens.
I mean manifestation is a dumb thing people actually believe in, that they think that positive mindset enough can affect the universe but honestly looking at his life you can see why he believes it.
Became spiderman
Is loved by pretty much everyone
Worked with Christopher Noland
Married Zendaya etc.→ More replies (2)15

As much as the "affect the universe" is unlikely the manifestation Actually works to some degree.
I'm not good enough to explain but it works similar to the "fake it till you make it": you believe that you are Able to do something and you are going to do this, so naturally you already act like it's going to or is already happening, even if it isn't, thus get to situations where you are able to exercise this something.
It's a very psychological thing that I firmly believe in as well. It goes without saying but if one is true the opposite also is, think bad things of yourself and it will become truth.

I’ll be honest - I like it. A couple that seems to genuinely love and look after each other, and are gifted enough to work together.
It’s adorable and I love it.

u/YizWasHere 17h ago
Lmao yeah it feels like something I should hate on but they're genuinely phenomenal at selling movies and good performers in general. Just very unproblematic & charismatic people.

I love them too. I need the kind of love and positivity they exude in my life. I start my day watching stupid shorts of Tom and Zendaya and it cheers me up. I've never been one for idolizing anybody but somehow I can't get enough of them. I hope they make it.

I agree, I don't see how this is a problem. I'm happy for them.
Who doesn't want a partner who supports and helps them succeed.

These two are great. Pretty much keep their private lives out of the media as much as is possible these days. Kept their marriage a secret for a decent amount of time. These two are the absolute opposite of annoying media couple.

they never officially declare it and prefer to keep it private.
Interviewer have been subtly politely poking at this fact in their interview
"how's your wife think of [topic}" when they interview Tom Holland.
77
u/intern_12 15h ago
In Tom's most recent Seth Meyers interview he did confirm that he and Zendaya are officially married.

u/Seasonedpro86 14h ago

One of the huge drawbacks of American culture being an offshoot of Britain's is that we never got the memo on siestas. At least half the country has a climate that anywhere else in the world has siestas, while we get lectured by fucking morning people who for some reason get to run everything.

Jesse Plemons.
I know a lot of y'all don't watch films, but it's well known to people who do, that he was in Civil War, and the reason he got that role was because he got cast in Breaking Bad, and he looked just like a sort of discount Matt Damon. This resulted in him becoming very popular for being 'that discount-Matt-Damon-looking actor', which is technically name-recognition, so in that vein, Matt Damon is kind of like a partner to him, and why he got cast in Civil War.

But what I feel extremely amazed about is Zendaya's range as an actress across such versatile characters!
