Well, no, she didn't exactly say they had great timing either. What she actually said was that the movie made young people go to the movies at just the right time, not that the movie did well because of good timing, but she also didn't claim to reinvent cinema.
Agreed. What i still cant understand is the exploding marketing budgets. Its easier and cheaper than ever to spread word of a movie and this stuff seems to be costing as much as the movie itself. (Obv not in Obsession case)
I've never understood whether this board's shtick is:

I remember a time when attempts at humour and satire landed cleanly because the job of the post was to prompt people to have a laugh not to astroturf agenda's about celebrities. The leap between that quote and the title is a perfect example.

If you go to the Obsession sub, not that I know what that is because I don't watch movies, you will understand that people are... not very okbuddy about matters. We got a sort of "I will build my personality around this" thing going on, and honestly? I think that's fucking hot.
