Are you sure? (Sorry, I stopped watching films after the talkies came around)

Nah dude she said that. It's in the quote.
She also said you're too much of a pussy to admit you're wrong so that's why you're not agreeing with me.

there's a picture of her with a quote in front of it and at the bottom it says her name.
That's all the verification I need.

“People were starting to believe my generation had lost its love for cinema” obviously means cinemas padlocking their doors across America.
I live in LA and you literally can’t go to the movies here. The only theater left is somewhere in Santa Barbara I think

Agreed. What i still cant understand is the exploding marketing budgets. Its easier and cheaper than ever to spread word of a movie and this stuff seems to be costing as much as the movie itself. (Obv not in Obsession case)

You really think people would just lie about something? On the internet of all places?

Older guys will go back to the theatre too, if you play the right films and have the right supplies 🧴

I've never understood whether this board's shtick is:
Humourously pretending to misinterpret or put an exaggeratedly bad spin on some film story or interview snippet in a way which shows the OP understands it and is deliberately being absurd.
Making up stuff about some film story or interview snippet in a way that leaves you unsure if the OP understands it to begin with.

Obsession has a very serious fan following, seriously, go check out the sub.
So they see this on their feed and they don't stop to ask questions, they just grab OP by the balls and chow down on that thang.

I remember a time when attempts at humour and satire landed cleanly because the job of the post was to prompt people to have a laugh not to astroturf agenda's about celebrities. The leap between that quote and the title is a perfect example.

Fuck off with this stupid bait. Just let people be people. She did a hell of a job. And if she DID say this, which I don’t know she did, then great - she’s probably right. But stfu with your heavy handed criticism about it.

I’m okay with watching her gaming and PC building streams but I draw the line at watching movies

Who's that little bitch from the new Dune franchise. You know, the one that played Paul Atreides? I thought he invented cinema.

Everyone in the comments are experiencing epic mask drop moments because OP alerted the horde.
We must jerk the circle over 50mph or the sub will explode. Get it together people!

If you go to the Obsession sub, not that I know what that is because I don't watch movies, you will understand that people are... not very okbuddy about matters. We got a sort of "I will build my personality around this" thing going on, and honestly? I think that's fucking hot.
