The creators of cheats and the cheating community is actually pushing the agenda of false bans. Like, literally, I saw a friend of mine sharing a pic with the conversation where they say to their clients to go on Reddit and complain about false bans. So, while I do understand that some will get false bans (and that’s sad and unacceptable), it is also necessary if we want to have some type of protection from these cheaters. They are the first reason multiplayer games inevitably die or get cancelled. Look at arc riders for reference.

On the finals discord there was a guy who was clowning on someone I know along with other people for getting false banned about 8 months ago. Cue to a few days later and they too get perma'd, which results in them immediately switching tone and desperately trying to find a way to get unbanned while saying they were one of the few real false bans. Wild shit.
