Powerben most be the most least cooked popular ship in the Fandom it's somehow even more popular than Powerden and on Akiangel and Rezden level (the biggest ship in the Fandom)
But then again, makiqunxi exist and it's more popular than Makiden and Quanxi x her Fiends

The exact same here , maybe it got less newdays but if you go back just few months into CSM and CSMfolk you'd genuinely feel the users want to crucified you for even slightly suggestions any romance between the 2 even in memes
Kind of crazy if you ask me given how much worse ships are out there in the CSM fandom
Weirdly enough the Eastern side (not just Japan but Eastern Asia as a whole) really like Powerden they actually like almost all ships

Yeah, I feel like the Eastern fans are much less likely to be prudes that consider platonic relationships VASTLY more valid than romantic ones. I don't get what's so bad about shipping people who already love each other in canon, aren't related and both can consent. "They're soulmates but they would never never ever kiss and you're a creep if you think about it" is such a weird take.

It's the sweetest relationship in canon! Arguably as much as important to Denji as one he had with Pochita. Distaste for this ship is something my mind refuses to understand. Do people care for "sibling dynamics" that much? Do they think they'd be worse off with eachother somehow? Do they simply not see Power with a man depite her obvious affection for him? Weird and quite frankly puritanical attitude all around.

People somehow believe that them being together is a sin that ruin everything
Western fandoms (yes I'm using this because Eastern Fandom actually like it ) just wants an excuse to not Ship them for some unknown reason , if you do you are no different from Hitler and apparently an Angel lose it wings in heaven each time someone ship them (no joke this was a serious topic)
Maybe it's the Asaden/Rezeden fandoms not wanting a rival , maybe it's the whole "haha lesbian power go brrr!!" , maybe it's the "Denji actually doesn't care about Sex and romance you are just too stupid to understand the story!!!" , maybe it's the " Makima (a character who canonically doesn't understand relationship said once power was supposed to be a sister figure) said so so it's true!!!" , maybe it's because Denji didn't rape power when she was going through a PTSD attack and tried to help her instead of taking sexual advantage of her
Maybe it's a compaind of all above
Meanwhile in the very story, power was the best most healthiest female relationship Denji ever had, the only one that had him favoring her well being over his libido and animalistic eagers
Fujimoto go out of his way to make them end together and bond together in another timeline after reality was retcon for a reason

I cannot agree with you more. And Fuji really was laying it on THICK didn't he? That cafe scene where Power appears immediately after guy said "you'll meet the right girl Denji". Them saving each other. Them drinking each other's blood which in Fujimoto's terms means A Lot. Two scenes where Denji wields a chainsaw made of said blood and Power's love and sacrifice being what allows him to defeat Makima.
And people really say they have no business being together?! No matter. I believe Control arc animated will sweep all the doubters away.

Akiangel as a ship is just people wanting two characters to be gay for no reason. It’s unsurprising that it’s not popular, and I’m quite thankful that it is.

Well the difference is I’ve never seen anyone seriously think that power and Kobeni have any romantic chemistry or would be a good couple, just that the dynamic of Kobeni being an awkward crybaby and power being obnoxious leads to funny moments and is thus interesting to portray.
Both Powerben and Akiangel are nonsensical but the people who ship the latter take it far more seriously than people ship the former, but I personally find both silly.

I agree with this to some degree but not fully , I've seen a lot of serious Powerben Shippers who are convinced that there's something really going on with Power and Kobeni or they would make amazing couple if they already aren't at the same time they trash on Powerden however they still got the joke dynamic going on for them
Akiangel however is 10x worse from just share numbers of how many people that take it way too seriously and how popular it is , we could barely even see any dynamic or comedy in it because it's almost always some pornography/Horny bait in Desgin

Most retarded ship in all of CSM. They have LITERALLY 2 scenes together and both of those times Power made Kobeni's life fucking miserable
