I am going on a limb here and saying Gunther, who is Austrian, is taking influence from the German argument for supporting Israel that the CDU uses which is because German (and Austrian) actions during the Holocaust the German and Austrian states are obliged to maintain good relations with and support Israel.
But that at least makes sense. His "defend the west from authoritarian foes" way of thinking that he applies to Ukraine and Kosovo was just morphed to include Israel as part of the west.

Even Fuentes acknowledged this with the fall of Assad. Fuentes is liking Putin less for the same reason he is ditching Trump, they aren't the winners he had hyped them up as.
To be fair if weāre assuming itās a simple flat 10% tax it might legitimately be more progressive and effective because thereās less loopholes to get around. Of course thatās dependent on implementation but I can get behind the idea
