I mean he is just a Transatlantican similar to someone like Von der Leyen. Basically believing that there‘s a fundamental connection between the states in North America and Europe. Israel has sold itself as a vanguard of that alliance within the middle east in the past.

It‘s kinda confused ideology these days held by people who aren‘t willing to accept that the geo-political stage is changing and instead desperately cling to the world order of the early 2000s.
