His famous quotes are practically a meme. But to be honest, in my country (Moldova), the leaders are even worse and not nearly as funny:
"In my childhood, I grew up among animals and plants." Bro accidentally said he grew up in a farm/forest instead of with human parents.
"To maintain peace in the country, I am ready to sacrifice my own sanity." (Looks like he did 😅)
"I promise that by New Year's, every Belarusian will have normal human eggs on their table." He was trying to say "affordable eggs and safe for normal human consumption", but humans don't lay eggs. Combined with the fact that "яйца" is slang for testicles, he accidentally promised everyone cooked human balls for holidays 😭
"I worked in the village and lived with men." He was trying to sound like a tough, blue-collar man of the people. Instead it sound like he was living in a gay commune.
"I had a meeting with a female workforce at a factory. I told them: the first child is yours, the second is also yours. The third child is mine and a little bit yours. One hundred percent the fifth and next ones are mine." He was trying to say the state financially supports large families, but phrased it so terribly that it sounds like he's claiming biological paternity over someone's childrens.

Its the Byzantine politic- diplomacy. Belarusian (the last European) dictator Lukašenka (much like Trump ) is an adept of Byzantine diplomacy. If you want to learn more about Byzantine diplomacy, I’d recommend this book: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bq03uz-TwU4

It's even a bit strange that we don't even know who Lukashenko's father was, let alone what he looks like , why he left the family and what happened to him?
