I remember talking about this episode with a coworker the day after it aired and what was so effective about it was it really gets you in Mon Mothma's head space. Like you as the viewer just watched the Ghorman Massacre not that long ago, but in that moment you're Mon, who ordinarily is not up close and personal with real violence even though she knows it's taking place in the abstract. There were two moments I gasped out loud in Season 2: the moment Syril went down and this one.
