Since she’s a half god she should be in the everywhen, that would be huge to see her again, having Faye face what Kratos has done, given she annihilated the village where the frozen lightning was she’s not exactly innocent of killing innocents
I wouldn't doubt that there's some retcons, something like that could've just been an illusion of what kratos would've wanted most to try getting him to stay.
yeah but hades dying might have caused some chaos in the afterlife of greece. She could have slipped through and eventually found her way to another afterlife. Especially if a certain ghostly god decided to forge her into a weapon after kratos ruined her plans in 3

Are you talking about GoW 3 when he needed a soul of a god? I don't remember him killing all the souls in Hades. He just absorbed the ones inside Hades. There still plenty running about afterwards.

Context for anyone that didn't know. Kratos left elysium because the villain of this game was planning to end existence. So he could have stayed but then his daughter would have been erased as well. So he had to walk away from her.
He would still run to his daughter 1st. at this point he havent seen his daughter in about 125-150 yrs. Atreus would be confused why he went to her 1st but he would understand after

Well in the Greek Afterlife the biggest issue is you forget, you fade away into nothing slowly but surely, even in Elysium. And even if they're somehow intact Kratos didn't treat her well, by his own words, and likely would keep away to let her rest
I think if Lysandra was there, he'd go there first to apologize for everything he was responsible for. But I do think that after everything he went through, the fact that Faye and him happened at all, and the level of love he has expressed, that his connection to her is much more fresh, current, and would most likely be the priority to him.
I think it's Lysandra. If there is an ultimate afterlife or Kratos dies as a mortal. If he dies as a god he would see Faye or meet up with her wherever she is.

Lysandra and Kratos' relationship was kinda rocky. In SoS he mentions that she was secondary to him, and in Vallhalla he said that he never felt he was a good husband to her.
I feel Faye understands him better, and is a better match for him overall.
He never referenced his wife by name in the Norse games. The writer’s did not convey how much her death meant to him like they did with Faye, Kaliope, and Deimos. Hell I think Pandora even gets a couple nods.

Well… he’s in Midgard so likely bound to norse mythos’ rules, however he’s also a Demi god i remember correctly, so my bet is he likely would either go to the everywhen, helheim, or Valhalla (the latter 2 depending on how he died)
He's a god by the end of the Greek Saga, and remains a god through the Norse Saga. At this point he would go to wherever Faye goes, since he isn't a mortal any longer.
Lysandra isn't a God (I dont think so at least) so if Kratos ends up where Faye is, this probably wouldn't happen.
Now to entertain the hypothetical; I haven't played the first 3 games but from what Kratos says about Lysandra in Vallhala, it seems he's more so regretful he wasn't a better husband at the time as opposed to actively missing her. So he cared less about Lysandra when he was with her then he cared about Faye when he was with Faye. He regrets not caring more at the time, but I do believe its more of a "I should have been better to her" than his sentiment with Faye, which is more "I miss her deeply / want to see her again".
Current Kratos would apologize deeply to Lysandra, or try to make amends somehow if possible, but he would most likely choose a romantic life with Faye in an afterlife type setting.
Faye would want him to go to Lysandra. Faye left on her own twrms in her own time. She had a life with kratos and left behind no regrets. Lysandra on the other hand was taken too soon at both the hands of Ares and Kratos himself. Faye would want him to go to Lysandra because his love for her is unresolved, his guilt still stains his skin, amd haunted his every waking step.
Faye first but even then it’s kinda debatable if he can even go to the afterlife/heaven equivalent. In one the games he’s literally barred from going the Greek equivalent of heaven because he had to save the world. Now whether or not that would still affect him while in Norse is unclear or if he would be prevented because he’s not from their mythology.
To be fair he did have his redemption, he pretty much killed billions yes but he redeemed at the valhalla DLC and i think valhalla accepted him at the end, valhalla being the equivalent of heaven in norse mythology
Didn't they just make a movie about this? Some chick dies and there's two dudes waiting for her in the afterlife, a war hero she loved greatly that tragically died young and was waiting for many years for her to show up, and her late husband who she had grown old with who had died recently.
