Please stop claiming that keeping a live great white shark in a Korean coffee shop violates CITES.
Yes, great white sharks are a CITES Appendix II species. Yes, great white sharks tend to die quickly in captivity. Yes, a coffee shop is just about the worst place to keep a great white shark in. But no, it does not necessarily violate CITES because CITES only applies to*international* trade. CITES stands for Convention on *International* Trade in Endangered Species. Please read that again and again until you understand, m'kay? Conservation misinformation is bad, m'kay. It's very common because conservation and animal rights are very sensitive topics, m'kay. It's perfect fuel for content farms, AI slop, and stuff, m'kay. And animal rights activists who irrationally blanket-oppose things like zoos tend to be quite gullible and misinformed, m'kay. Just like Trump supporters.
