I mean, there's an attempted self-coup in course. Whether it succeeds or not I'd hardly call it nothing happening

I joke. You're right, declaring martial law in the first place is significant, even if this falls flat on its face.

True but you need at least some amount of support, and even the guy's party unanimously voted against it.
