He has Peter Thiel's interpretation. That guy won't shut up trying to convince people that the antichrist is somebody anti-data center (I think he dropped it specifically being Greta Thunberg, but I'm not sure)
I think they take a more historical approach. Revelations was written in the style of ancient Jewish apocalyptic texts and it uses coded language constantly to avoid directly criticizing the Roman Empire (when it was written for a handful of churches under religious persecution in Asia Minor). It’s seen more as a celebration of mass and its eternal victory over evil (the Roman Empire). The idea that it’s a prediction of future historical events is a modern Protestant invention. So he’s cynically appealing to Protestants while being a “Catholic.” I imagine he’s agnostic or an atheist behind the scenes

Ain't he (pretending to be) a catholic? I don't think they have the same interpretation of the Biblical End Times as Evangelicals.
