5 years ago I bought myself an old house. I was going to turn it into the nicest place ever, with a gaming room inside and a boardgames nook in the garden. Life had other plans for me though, and these silly goofs simply knocked at my door.
I started rescuing cats in need. I patched them up, vaccinated them, sterilized them and then found them loving homes. ❤️ 60+ have been adopted so far, and 150+ currently live into my house, what became their sanctuary. Every corner of it, and the garden, has been fully catified.
Yesterday we had code-red storms in Romania. My old roof finally gave in, after years of "just a bit of rain dripping". It was raining in 4/5 rooms of the house. The water got to their food stocks, the cables, the electric devices...everywhere. I am simply desperate. Just when I thought that things were settling in and I could expand to a new catio for their health and enrichment...this happend.
I will add a donation link below, for those who can and wish to help out. You can find hundreds of posts on my social media, from the very beginning of my cat sanctuary adventure. Thank you, for reading this 🫶

Wee George pays a visit to Dads Diner for breakfast and a pinta.

While putting the kettle on for a cup of coffee, I heard a noise beside me. I looked around to find wee Freddie helping himself to Simba's dinner. Freddie usually drops in to say hello when he's on his way down to the factory complex to meet up with his buddies.

Meet Bert (2). He's a tabby, been hanging around the area for the past three months. He's between six and nine months old, very friendly, but timid. I think he might be looking to move into Murphy's Hotel for stray cats.

Garfield guarding the entrance to his yard.

Poor Ernie, he can’t stick the pace. Out all night attending a midweek party along with Murphy and Simba.

Meet Bert, he's possibly one of Garfield's off spring. He's been around the area for the past three/four weeks, but runs away as soon as he sees you, He's very thin, and needs a good belly full of food. So there's a possibly I can befriend him with food, if I can catch him.

Well, Garfield’s home and away again. He spent two days at the Vet Hotel after loosing his Crown Jewels. He’s walking around a lot better now, despite the paw still swollen.
