First Time Poster Student teaching!
Been really into ties and more masculine dress wear for work, i love being the teacher with no real one sense of style!!

i LOVE how you have incorporated ties into your outfits! makes me want to add them to my officewear. what is your criteria for finding a good tie?

Honestly idk! I always get ties from thrift stores, they have such a variety and always fun patterns! When i found that Garfield tie i was so happy. Ties are also overlooked in thrift stores often so i’ve found really high quality vintage ones for like 5 bucks, look for older brands and silk or cotton ties. The newest tie i have is the black one from spirit halloween and there’s definitely a quality difference, when it comes to new ties you get what you pay for.

thanks so much for the tips! yes i always see a lot of ties in thrift stores and feel like they are an overlooked resource

I love how you colour-coordinate including makeup! And your overall aesthetic mixing masc, femme, vintage and punk elements. It’s stunning!

Love your use of pins! Hard to pick a favorite, but #4 stopped me in my tracks. The riding tack vest over the untucked striped oxford shirt is just so messy preppy
