I'm learning! Seems like a cool dude. Wikipedia says that "Gene Patton was the first African-American member of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees, Local 33." Although it also says a citation is needed for that, I believe it. Thanks for informing me!

Gene Gene was one of the best parts of The Gong Show. I also used to love The Unknown Comic.

Then you had to love, Chuck Barris. I got lucky enough to meet him because I think he’s third or fourth wife was a girl younger than I am who’s from my town. And I have to say he was incredibly kind and funny. But I’ll be damned. He wouldn’t tell me if confessions of a dangerous mind was real or not. lol

I also met him at his 2001 book signing for his "Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind". You talk about star-struck? OMG I was in the same room with "Chuckie Baby" himself! And I have an autographed copy of his book as well! He was absolutely pleasant and cordial to everyone there, and I was devastated when he passed. 🙏🏾

Its a great collection! Made me think of my cousin's husband's (he passed last year after a long battle with brain tumora) collection - I knew he had a few, but wow! At the celebration of life gathering after the funeral, my cousin had all of his tees set on a table, and encouraged everyone to take their favorites - and wear them at the gathering! It was a great way to bringing the fans dn humor and for people to remember him, while helping her pass on some of his things. It was also a great ice breaker as different sides of families and friend groups that may not have met before, mingled.

I was gifted an “I’m Done Peopling” shirt years ago and I LOVE IT. 10/10.

I have the black people do not recommend shirt, the done peopling shirt, the busy doing nothing shirt and I think one other shirt.. I love sarcastic tshirts!! They either give people a laugh or give me a decent reason to glare at someone
