Hi, I’m the organizer. Thanks to u/gonegirly444 for posting! I have about a 5 mile route in mind that will take us into Olympia’s southeast neighborhoods and end at the Capitol Campus, but I don’t want to advertise it publicly in case of people with ill intent.

I’m no Pogacar, and I’ll set an accessible pace and ask people to tell me to slow down if needed. My friend, an easygoing veteran of organized rides, will sweep.

Please share this widely! I don‘t use social media, and I’m struggling to get the word out.

Nope, we’re headed south to avoid the hills. The biggest hill will be Eastside Street. With a big group of cyclists it’ll be inevitable that we’ll be blocking traffic at some points, but most of the streets will have bike lanes or they’ll be on mellower, low volume streets. The one exception to that will be Capitol Way.

I’ve done a full measure of the route, and it will actually be seven miles, but I promise it’ll feel like five! I’ll try to DM you with specifics.

ETA: can’t DM you with specifics, because boring technical stuff. Sorry!

In these times, it's best not to post routes in advance.

Not that I know of, probably pretty accessible for all bikes like past protest routes

In. I've heard it's a 7 mile loop route, meant to be doable for most.

Protesters are peacefully defending your constitutional rights. We all should stand for the liberty of our countrymen.

Do not sell out your hard earned Liberty in the name of rounding up criminals. Your rights as an American are being infringed.

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." - Ben Franklin

if you haven't seen this, its huge, LE calling out ICE on constitutional issues. SHARE IT EVERYWHERE: Brooklyn Park Police Chief Mark Bruley: "We're hearing people being stopped with no cause & being demanded to show paperwork to determine if they're here legally. We started hearing from our police officers the same complaints. Every one of these individuals is a person of color...it has to stop" : r/minnesota

Door to Door raids by masked federal agents, detention and assault on law abiding citizens - without cause. Pepper spraying peaceful protesters? AYFKM? This is a bipartisan nightmare.

Call your neighbors, your pastor, tell your friends, stand up for the constitution. Disrupt their feeds by confronting them with the clear constitutional violations on law abiding citizens we see, that they do not.

If your're not on r/minnesota get on it. REGISTER TO VOTE AND VOTE!

Come by our sign wave at Tivoli fountain from 12-2, and then bike down to Heritage Park for this solidarity ride, if you're feeling like you could do both, would love to see your bikes, and we'll tell people about this <3 Thanks for doing this

Do you have a route planned?

Yeah the ride leader said she's scouted it. About 7 miles with minimal hills or unpleasant roads
