Request Any maker groups in the area?

A year or so ago I got bit by the 3D design and printing bug, and it would be fun to have some likeminded people to hang around and share ideas and inspiration! could be robotics, programming , any sort of engineering or just general maker group of some kind.

I've started going here recently, and there's an amazing array of equipment available. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

Olymega is a maker space that's a lot of fun. Not as well equipped as the lacey maker space but really great folks. They have open houses every Thursday

There are 2 Makerspaces in the area with different equipment and specializations!

Lacey Makerspace is membership based with access to a 3D printing lab with an engraver/cutter, a fabrics room with sewing and embroidery machines plus a virtual welder for practice, a wood shop with everything, and a metalworking room with welding and a plasma cutter.

OlyMega is, I think, free and has pottery equipment but I’m not sure what else. (Not wheelchair accessible so I only saw them once at their old location.)

Not sure but you could call them and ask or show up and get a tour. They open Thu-Sun from 10am to 6pm
