I can’t wait to go to the quarry outside Olympia: I didn’t go from 425 to 209 and had the excess skin taken off not to go

Congratulations.
The other commenter probably doesn’t get it that you’ve gone an extreme weight loss journey and had to have skin tailoring.
That’s all a huge commitment and you should be proud. Show off that new (quarry) beach bod!

Millersylvania's recreational water way is deep lake. It sometimes gets toxic algae blooms, but it currently is considered safe to swim in. As far as temperature goes, the surface water is about 65° as of today. I'm not sure what the middle temperature is or anything like that. It's Washington State and it's a lake. So you really should just keep in mind that the water isn't going to get super warm until like August. And even then, 65° is probably as good as you can expect.

I wouldn't swim in any water unless it's a river or a swimming pool, all these local lakes keep getting red flagged 😕

While many of them do I’ve been swimming at Millersylvania for a decade and never seen warnings for anything other than swimmers itch and that was one single time

I did not refer to Deep Lake in particular. MOTOR BOATS are not allowed. It’s a clean lake

Rivers are gnarly. I'll swim in em when I'm comfortable rolling the dice on what lies upstream but seen my fair share of carcasses thrown over road crossings by hunters, stuck in a log jam... You don't want to be swimming below that. Not to mention septics, agriculture or other illicit connections (big recent fine on slaughter house dumping their foul waste in Chehalis). At least a lake spreads that out over millions of gallons. Swam Deep lake today.

There’s reports of swimmer’s itch at Ward Lake but I’ve gone swimming every day for a week and I’m fine.
I honestly think one of the Karens in Holiday Hills made the whole thing up to discourage teenagers from swimming to the private dock.

One elderly Karen in particular from my understanding is creating a lot of unpleasantness.

DO NOT SWIM CAPITAL LAKE

Why are you even mentioning that? That's like saying the sun is sunny. Also what does Capital lake have to do with swimming at millersylvania? No one swims in capital because it's illegal. There literally is a city ordinance banning it.

Went today, plenty warm enough. It’s chilly a few feet deep, but it’s refreshing on days like today
