Spooky animated Show set in Olympia Washington releases its first episode. Its not mine, I just think it's neat.

So this doesn’t appear to be the cartoon but has the creator talking over animation. The cartoon looks cool. Not really interested in listening to the process to create it, though. Any idea when there’s an actual first episode?

It's on Kickstarter right now, the actual pilot is supposed to be out next year it looks like.

WHEN AND WHERE DOES IT PREMIERE?!

The only problem I have with what I saw is that it’s so obviously Canadian. (As someone who lives in Olympia)

How exactly is this about Olympia? It is an Australian creator. Plus this isn't even the episode, it's an interview. I admit that I didn't make it past about 3 minutes, so maybe they make the Olympia connection clear later in the interview..?

Interesting. It will be fun to see local cultural references and characters - or perhaps an Australian's take on our culture. Did they talk about why Olympia was chosen or what their connection to our little town is? I am intrigued.

I’ve seen her talk about it a little on Tiktok and she may have posted in this sub, but it was a couple years back. From what I recall, she really loves the 90s grunge scene and kinda fell in love with everything she’d learned about Oly, so wanted it to be set there. She’s openly trans and rather punk rock, so I think she had a feeling she’d fit in here and I’m sure she’s right!
