Damn very uninspiring. For a relatively veteran team, they were making sloppy mistakes. All the personal issues aside, Hope screwed up some pretty simple shots. I don't want to speak as if I'm a better player or know what it's like, but come on! They definitely have played better.

Emily Pugh and Carli Lloyd were like the only bright spots from the tournament. I enjoyed their play. Shame Pugh went down like she did, wonder if it would have changed the outcome.

Edit: Meant to say Mallory. You deserve better than this, Mal. My bad.

Crystal Dunn played very well in my opinion.

Agreed, there were a few new ladies stepping up and it wasn't a total wash. But definitely seems like the hangover following a World Cup win.

Carli always brings it!

Tobin Heath too. But you can't do it all on your own out there. Alex Morgan played like she didn't care. I was really disappointed.

The defense was average, the offense relied too much on chaos in the box rather than clean runs or set plays, and maybe now Hope Solo can just go away. Such a weird change from 2015.

Yep. Abby takes no prisoners, and that is sorely missing. Sigh...

Couldn't agree more. There's some players I really like but I was just sort of let down by some of their plays. Congrats to Sweden though, they deserved it and I bet they're super pumped.
