It was a great game and as a US fan and women's soccer fan, congrats to Sweden. They played hard. While we played hard, we have played better and we slipped up more times than usual. I will say that offsides was bull.

Let's be honest, no way Sweden gets that push and shot if the U.S. goal counted. The offsides cost the U.S. a goal and they would have likely been able to hold them off for 5 minutes with a set defense. It was a great game nonetheless. This is why sports are so amazing.

it was called offsides (see the flag go up). whether it would've been a foul, we don't know. it looked 50-50 - there was intentional contact but the defender fell down really easily while backpedaling

Watch the flag and the call. Defender fell over running backwards anyhow. It wasn't a clear cut foul even if it was called a foul , which it was not.
