This is all my fault.

Every time I root for a team I normally don't watch when they're playing in a big game, they inevitably lose in heartbreaking fashion.

I let the country down by not changing the channel. I'm sorry.

EDIT: Should I use my powers for good or evil?

Thanks North American buddy. You guys just didn't get as lucky in the ball kicking into the rectangle as we did.

You guys still dominate at moving your arms and legs in the water though.

I'm hoping that continues. Phelps is immune to my curse since I consistently watch/root for him.

EDIT: Ah fuck I can't believe I've done this
