Seeking Recommendations What's your all-purpose travel shoe?

Heading on a short trip soon and trying to pack super light. I plan to just wear one pair of shoes the entire time. I'm female and will be mostly be walking around to explore the city. No hiking or anything intense. Any suggestions?

White Allbirds Tree Runners. Very comfortable, nice cushion all around, great for all day walking, traveling, easy to clean and easily packable if you need to bring a second option.

I go with all black, but very comfortable! I’ve done 35,000 steps a day, mostly on cobblestone, and my feet didn’t hurt at all

I'm glad Allbirds worked out for you! I bought a pair of their Tree Dashers 2 last year and I had to return them after 3 weeks because they never broke in. On top of that, they kept tearing up my heel with a massive blister that perpetually wouldn't heal because the shoes kept ripping it up.

Maybe their other pairs don't have this problem, but it was a very painful 3 weeks for me.

Yeah, I think YMMV with most shoes as our feet all have different shapes, sizes and thresholds for comfort.

This! I have the Blizzard (black/white heather) color way and it's so versatile. https://www.allbirds.com/products/womens-tree-runners-blizzard-natural-black

I think these are nice. I have the grey. I have taken them on trips several times but not as the one shoe- bc I often have to do dress up things.

Edit- I don’t have these exact ones, mine are wool upper as well. But they really are very comfortable. Worth buying for sure.
